Home Renovation
During the home renovations initial walkthrough, it was clear that every corner of this house had work done in the past. The previous owners ran down this place; there were holes in walls, plumbing and electrical issues, never mind the smell of cigarette smoke mixed nicely with cat urine. We first tackled the floors and subfloors by ripping them out, then laying out new subfloor. That was a great way to get the initial smell out. Afterwards, we washed the ceiling and walls, followed by a coat of Kilz primer, which helped us rid the house of the bad smells and got us ready for the rebuilding stage. We designed and installed new kitchen cabinets with butcher block countertops. In any major home renovation, kitchens are always the focal point, and we spent some time with a designer figuring out cabinet layout and adding seating space. An island is still a great addition to a kitchen, it opens up space and accommodates your on-the-go meals, entertaining or just being able to watch TV while you’re cooking. Besides that, our crew hit every cosmetic finishing, flooring, lighting, plumbing, baseboards, doors, and painting (inside and out). When we completed this home renovation project, the investors sold this house within 24 hours, and from the pictures, you can see why.
